About Oli G
We named the brand after the molecule.
Oligopeptides are short chains of amino acids — small enough to slip past the cuticle and into the cortex, where damage actually lives. Other ingredients sit on the surface. Oligopeptides go inside. We built every formula around them. The brand name is a nod.
Why this brand exists.
Most haircare today falls into one of two buckets. The mass-market shampoo aisle: thirty brands competing on price and fragrance, with formulas that haven’t structurally changed since the 1990s. The premium-science aisle: hero products that work, but each brand is one or two products deep — the user is left to assemble a routine across multiple brands and hope they don’t conflict.
Oli G was founded to build something neither of those does well: a complete peptide-driven system, engineered as a sequence, that does in seven products what most brands try to do in two.
The whole point is that the products work together. Atomic deposits peptides into the open cuticle; Chemical Addiction closes the cuticle around the deposit. Total Refresh keeps daily wash at the right pH so the system doesn’t get knocked out of sequence. AquaLush floods the open cuticle weekly with the deepest concentration of actives in the line.
A single peptide mask, used in isolation, gets you a fraction of what a sequenced system gets you. We built the system because the system is the science.
How Oli G is built.
Oli G is formulated in Miami by a small team of haircare chemists working alongside a network of professional stylists. The work happens in three places:
In the formulation lab, where we engineer the peptide deposit, the silicon-bonded protein anchor, and the alkaline-to-acidic pH cycle that holds the system together.
Behind the chair, where stylists test new products on real clients before they reach retail.
Through independent consumer panel testing, where outside research firms measure what we’re actually delivering.
The brand is structured this way deliberately. The science is the story. The system is the differentiator. The work happens in batches small enough that every formulation iteration goes through real-world salon testing before it becomes a product anyone can buy.

Katie Brenner
Katie Brenner is Oli G’s Global Artistic Director and Educator. Based in Denver, where she works behind the chair at Golden Trove Salon and serves as the salon’s Director of Education, Katie leads Oli G’s professional training program: stylist certification, the in-salon protocols our pro network uses on real clients, and the comparative analysis that informs how the brand positions in the category.
Her background spans color and editorial work — former Global Artistic Director for RUSK, current Global Artistic Director for JRL Professional alongside Oli G, four consecutive years co-producing Denver Fashion Week’s runway hair direction, and platform work across Redken, L’Oréal, and others. She specializes in advanced blonding, corrective color, and extensions.
If you’ve encountered an Oli G stylist using the system on a client, the protocol they’re working from likely passed through her chair.
Made in Miami, tested in real salons.
Oli G is formulated and bottled in Miami, Florida. Every product is manufactured in the United States in batches that pass our internal QC standards before release. We work with independent research firms on consumer panel testing — the same caliber of labs that test products for the most rigorous brands in the category.
We don’t conduct our own studies in-house.
What we won’t do.
- We won’t add ingredients we can’t justify.Every active in the system has a documented role. No filler, no marketing-only inclusions.
- We won’t compete on price by compromising the formula.Total Refresh Conditioner uses Behentrimonium Methosulfate — one of the gentlest and most premium cationic conditioners in professional haircare. Most mass-market shampoos use cheaper alternatives. We pay more for it.
- We won’t pretend a single product is a system. No hero-product pricing on a “system” that doesn’t sequence. The pH cycle requires the cleanse, condition, repair, and seal steps to work in sequence. We tell users that.
- We won’t test on animals. We never have. We never will.
What we mean by “Pro Trusted.”
Oli G is used by professional stylists in salons across the United States. The system is sold through salons and authorized distributors via Oli G Pro. Stylist trust isn’t a marketing claim — it’s where the brand was first validated and how the product earned its reputation before any direct-to-consumer launch.

The next chapter.
We’re a young brand with a developed system. The next chapter is:
- Adding products to the systemFocused on protective styles, scalp health, and complementary formats that round out the architecture.
- Growing the stylist networkIn major metropolitan markets where the demand for peptide-driven, texture-inclusive haircare is fastest.
- Continuing the work behind the chair and in the labEvery formula iteration goes through real-world salon testing before it becomes a product anyone can buy.
Hair stronger than ever, built ingredient by ingredient.
